Drawing Free Mind – A Tutorial

Welcome to my first tutorial.

I had fun to draw in this way and I would like to share with you. I hope you’ll have fun too.

Usually when you start a new sketch, you have some idea about what you draw, and you try to put this idea on your sketch. Something like that. This way is different, I have no idea what will turn out. I just follow what happens. In some way, is the sketch that tells you what to do.

Omg, it sounds so complex. Hey, it’s my first tutorial… and in English too. But, let’s see how it works.

Step2

Step1

STEP 1 : Put random colors on the canvas. I use the tool Vector with opacity 100, but any other way is fine.

STEP 2: Use the tool smudge and mix well.

Step4

Step3

STEP 3: Now what do you see? I try to follow the shape with some black lines, and it turns out a ship. Or something like that.

STEP 4: I give shadows for any new shape. Find these shapes. I also try to make more shiny. I use simple brush for get it. Then I make colors more strong (Use bright colors or gamma filter). It seems to me a little robot.

STEP 5: I mark more the shapes with the shadows. I add more details to the colors So here is my little Boris. I could go on with it and add details but not today.
